we kind of use this thread like a chat room...... because trs cancelled chat and all of us people local, and members of trs just shoot it on here.

I have a buddy that lives in Detroit I visit every year a time or two, crash on his couch, beat him at beer pong, hit on his mom when we go by to eat dinner lol........ it's a pretty easy drive. Come on down.

Yeah, its a drive, but one thats well worth it You might want to wait til we have a saturday and sunday run where we camp out overnight, making it more worth while your drive

so i will be comin down March 13 - 21 , so lets start plannin

finally found the post for the spring dates...may start a thread in the Events forum just so we "old folks" can remember

just so ya know a 3 day pass is $15, while i think a 7 day is $30...if ya wanna plan the wheelin days accordingly...

yea , i am gonna find a hotel in the area , check things out , and it is gonna take me 2 days down , 2 days back , so i will be able to wheel Monday through Friday of the week , so i will get the 7 day pass

EDIT : I am gonna do the whole drive in one day , drive down on saturday the 13th , drive back saturday the 20th , so that gives me Sunday to Friday

if ya can borrow the camper... i would suggest either Hillman's Ferry or Kenlake State Park...

getting a room, i would suggest Lake Barkley Lodge or Kenlake Lodge...

they are the closest...the other hotels maybe far enough out that fuel costs from driving back and forth would negate any saving by staying anywhere cheaper....

also, pretty sure March is still "out of season" so the room rates should be cheaper...plus the may offer cheaper rates for a mid-week stay ( Sun-Thur. )get a cheaper room out by the interstate for Fri. night before ya leave Sat....

just some more thoughts to help ya plan in advance...
