turbo questions

You do know that a stock MAF will not work, right?
And that you will have to tune for bigger injectors and MAF?

Well what do u suggest I do to make it simplier with out doin a lot of wiring I have played around with my daily driver ranger I put a 5.0 MAF and took the plate off so it would flow better and it runns better I was gonna try that to. I figured it would be easier that swapin ecm and all the other stuff but I am still learin what do u think

The easiest thing is going to be to get a computer and vane air meter from an 88 t-bird. You'll have to re-pin some of the wires at the connector, but it's not too hard, it just takes some time and thinking.

Yeah. You will need a connector for the VAM as well. Are you using a ranger engine or a TC engine? Forged internals? What intake?

I am gonna run the ranger engine with new thunderbird pistons and rings with arp rod bolts and new bearings and I was gonna use the ranger intake and modify as needed

That ought to work. Your motor is distributorless and the t-bird motor has a distributor. You can make it work though. The DIS packs can be wired to the TFI outputs on the computer.

if using the ranger harness, the DIS swap is pretty simple, a couple modifications but it's not bad, I'll try to look into my links tomorrow when I'm on my computer

Appreciate it the machine shop is almost done with my block they re waitin in a cam bearin instaltion tool there's broke

got the motor together and have not had time to finish it maybe i will have time this winter
