Just wanted to share what I picked up this weekend for a nice $175. Both came off a full size 86 Bronco. I don't even have a welder yet but I thought that was a screaming deal and couldn't pass it up.

Let the swapping begin.

I thought they were the same. Assuming you mean a full width 8.8 and not an Ex one.

Good score, a 9" around here is worth around $150 alone. I have a spare for my F150 and a limited slip 3rd member that I'm building to put in it. A D44 TTB is about worthless here though, think I could probably pick up a whole truck for a couple hundred. But both together is a good deal.

dang, looks like I missed out on Copykat's brackets. I guess I'll wait on the next order, or just add an inch to each beam. However wouldn't using the brackets make for easier alignment?

Yup, nice pick up. I got mine out of a 1980 Bronco. Welded the spring perches this past weekend for the rear and am working on the plan for the D44. I already have the JD 3" suspension on there but it looks like we are going to modify the new drop brackets to move the beams in. Oh well, its a little more work on a big project.

just add an inch to each beam, then u can use whatever brackets u want in the future if u decide to change things up
