try y's versus bbk long tubes

I am def going to do the long tubes in my swap.. my question, and I haven't seen any conversation on here as to this, is will the bbk's work with littlei or no mod as well.. I know Tue runners are different, hence the tri y, but.. I am going to run a t5 with the 5.0 in this swap.. thank you for any advice..

baddad.. no, they don't make a swap header that I know of, but through the yeas of owning 5.0s I've been into some sites for them.. bbk makes a long tube, and I was just wondering if anybody has tried them.. and yes, I will def take pictures of pros/cons of the swap and such.. guess I am the guinea pig this time.. lol.. could be very cool though. We will see guys.. wish us all (me) luck..

I have been making some Mac long tube headers fit my 83 5.0 project. For the most part the passenger side fits good with a little frame triming and the driver side only fits with the two back tubes so I have been redoing the front two pipes.

And I decided to make my own engine mounts for this project to instead of buying them.

Very cool.! And for the record to all the auto trans guys, bbk is also now making a long tube header to fit the 5.0 auto setup.. thought some might find that interesting as well..

They are 1 5/8" headers. I was able to pick up some U bends at a local exhaust supply shop here so it made it alot easier to cut up some good Mustang headers. By the way these headers were for a Fox body with an AOD trans.

I like the tri-y's i got a set for mine and they cleared the steering rod great,but the passenger side you have to do some modding and notch the frame to get them clear.
