try ys made for early firing order?

I would like to know if the HO firing order would effect the performance of the TRY-y? being it was made for a 70's 302

No, it makes no difference. The driver's side tubes are paired correctly for either F/O. 5& 7 are paired together as are 6 & 8. The HO has 6 & 5 firing adjacently and the older F/O has 7 & 8 together.
