I just upgraded from a 1998 XLT Ranger to a 2007 Ranger Sport. I want to level the truck and have found the Truxxx leveling kit. I was wondering if anyone has used this kit and what theer review was on it from the ride to the installation process ect, any input would be great!

From what I understand it is a waste of money, you can perform a torsion crank without it. And if you crank anymore than 2" the CV will not like you with or without the kit and the stock keys can crank 2".

I've heard the same thing about those lift torsion keys.

Wait a min. Your telling him to crank the torsion insted of using a leveling kit but craking the torsion is a bad idea because it'll ruin his CV joints. You also for to mention the cranking the keys will also take away suspension travel and give you a ruffer ride. I'd say get the leveling kit and upgrade to stronger CV joints.

I wouldn't get the torsion key kit.

To level the truck out, do a torsion crank until it sits level. Don't go higher than 2" and you will be perfectly fine. My 05 sport trac was cranked level for 3 years with zero issues and still rode and drove like a dream. I wouldn't waste my money on those kits unless you had a 2008+ truck as they sat lower than the 98-07's.

Crank them till the truck is level and go get an alignment.

All the leveling kit does is a torsion bar crank it just gives you a different key. And cranking only 2" is fine it won't bust cv's

Basically the Key is 200 bucks and no cranking but it gives you the exact same results by having a thicker part where the bolts contact and simulates cranking the bar without turning the bolt.

Cranking them you can leave a little rake if you want or turn it level and its free...
either way you'll need an alignment. Crank em and save that 200 for the alignment.
