Georgia is now the number one state for movie/TV production, and of course Atlanta is the hub. This kind of crazy stuff is available off & on if you just keep your eyes open. The parts are worth more than they’re asking, and it’s supposed to be a good running truck that has just been sitting a year and a half. That’s nothing for one of these.

If it was a Peterbilt, this post would be different because I would be telling you about looking for the space for it!

If I had enough money for that truck.

I would be fixing my Ranger, my brother's tow truck and the Malibu I drive with the money instead of buying that truck.

Funny part about all of this is I can most likely make the space for it very Quickly.

Kinda curious, if it wasn't on the hayrack ride part of it I would have liked to have looked under it. I doubt they did a SAS for a static halloween display piece.

Ya know, those things shared a drivetrain with the Ranger, BII and Explorer. Some were even AWD. It's not too far fetched to think it is fully functional. I also wouldn't question someone having the parts laying around and hacking it together for mobile yard art.

The aerostar, to me personally.. is kinda like Anya Taylor Joy. I can't decide if it's one of the better looking things I've ever laid eyes on... or if it's an abomination.

I can say with confidence that I AM disappointed that I'll only ever get to experience being inside the van though

One of those is an abomination, the other... I wouldn't mind getting a look under the skit of and maybe taking for a ride. Get your mind out of the gutter, I want to look under that Aerostar and see if it's got it where it counts or just for show, and maybe take it for a ride if it is functional.

In the past I might have been interested in ATJ, but something changed. She was probably already heading that way, but since Furiosa she's really looking unhealthy (and the makeup artists probably helped her then). Don't know if she had surgery or lost an unhealthy amount of weight, but now she looks like a shoe-in for the maint character in an live action remake of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. To each their own.

Considering how many CDLs are allegedly getting revoked, prices will probably drop even more as the market gets saturated. I doubt that many of those people were owner/operators, but the companies that hired them will need to start selling off rigs that aren't being used due to lack of cheap drivers.

It’ll stop. That red truck will kind of act like a wedge between the trailer and the pavement as the bobcat comes over the roof.

I don’t see any tiedowns on the back of the Bobcat. Poor little Ranger is gonna die.

A lot of people don’t realize you can clear out a lot of smaller trees and heavy brush with a bobcat too. If he goes around a curve fast, when that thing flies off sideways and rolls down the hill, it’ll take out anything in the way.

Check out this thing. I was flipping channels, and this was on a 2/1992 episode of “Walker, Texas Ranger.” Jeep in the front, and tandem axle in the back. When I tried to zoom in on the tandem axles, I think they did the same thing I did with the Road Ranger. There’s the original drive axle in the front, and it looks like the back axle is a trailer axle. I tried to zoom in, and I can’t see a differential on that back axle, and it looks pretty thin just like a trailer axle. They’re five lug wheels. My gut feeling is the Jeep body was put on top of something else like a Ranger chassis. Who knows anything about this thing?

I'd wondered about that thing for years, looking at your screenshots it looks like they did a frame swap since the frame hangs way low, probably put the jeep body on a J truck chassis, looks like big 5 bolt pattern, not sure why the axles are narrow unless they put the jeep axles under a longer frame... looks like a legit farm vehicle that they used that was on premises...

Watching the show, the front deck sold it’s definitely a truck axle with a pumpkin in the middle. But the shots I tried to capture above, it’s a skinny little axle in the back like a trailer axle, and I didn’t see anything that looked like a differential.

I saw this absolutely cherry 2009 on a trip to Harbor freight. That’s the owner walking up on it. We chatted for a while. He’s had it eight years and bought it when it was eight years old. It’s all original, damn near immaculate. Looks like it was just painted, but he said it was the original paint.

That’s the Missing Linc in the background in front of Harbor freight.
