anybody got pictures of their trucks with tool boxes in the bed? I'm looking for styles, plastic vs. steel, black vs. chrome/diamond plating. Any pics or brands/prices for the ranger bed size would be awesome too. Thanks

i went with a pretty cheap one as far as the aluminum boxes go i think it's a delta. it was 400cdn. great at holding all my stuff but the lock is garbage so i rigged up my own pad lock on it. it's just held down with some J hooks, they just grab the underside of the rail and tighten from the inside of the box.

Here's a pic of my current box but I've had several different brands.

The best quality-wise that I've seen are the UWS boxes. Clean welds, double walled lid, and all edges rolled over and welded.

As for where to buy, craigslist is your friend. If you are not in a big hurry you can get a like new box for less than half the new cost.

I got my current box (BetterBilt) in great shape with a bunch of tools, straps, and assorted odds and ends for $100. It's a decent box but not up to the quality of the UWS I previously had.
