Welcome to TRS :)

You should start your own thread/post
2001 Ranger?

Fast Flashing THEFT Light?

Any gas engine needs 3 things to start/run
1. spark, at the right time
2. fuel, in the right mix with air
3. compression, above 120psi

If you "have fire and fuel and still nothing", then you have a compression issue, not a PATS issue

It ran fine until my son screwed up key so I bought new ones and new cylinder for keys and tried having it programmed and was told anyone was bad I didn't have the money to pay to have guy come out to program it again so I looked on here and seen the starter ground trick and done that so now won't start. Turns over great and use start g fuild and runs

So fuel is NOT OK

Then yes it is a PATS issue and nothing can be done about that except to have a working PATS key in the ignition.
Not sure how the old key was "screwed up" but if key shaft was just broken off then a locksmith can "Clone" a new key using the broken key
They can Read and Copy the PATS ID number from the old key then Write that same number to a Blank PATS key, so Computer thinks its the same key.

Other than that there is no work around to by pass the PATS system, the starter motor thing doesn't do anything about PATS thats just an external ground.
You can do the same for fuel pump, but still you will not have fuel injectors and there is no fix for that
