So as you know, the TRS Banner Across America is at a close. In 14-months it went from the Atlantic Ocean, to the Gulf of Mexico, and ended at the Pacific Ocean.

For 2012, I was thinking of a different challenge, but not sure if we have enough members in the right spots to pull it off.

I was thinking of going from the furthest place north in the US (Alaska) to the furthest place south in the US (Key West Florida). I'd like to start at the furthest point north in Alaska as possible, and then end in Key West Florida.

I don't care which path it takes. I don't care if it goes all the way across Canada. I just care that it completes the journey. That meens you can't send it a direction unless you know there are people willing to participate so it doesn't get stuck anywhere.

I would have to make a new banner and figure out who to send it to in the spring to get started.

It would be nice to try and pull this off in 12-months or less.

This is a feeler thread to see if and who would be interested.

(just a friendly reminder to make plans to transport the new Banner)

I am also interested in this, I am in Indianapolis. If Hoosier can't get it I can back him up. I would probably route it to KY, and hand off to a member in the Frankfort or Lawrenceburg Kentucky area.

I hope not...unless some of the guys hang it in a greasy spoon while enjoying an all you can eat breakfast...

Shouldn't be hard to find someone to do that...I'm more concerned about smuggling it back across the border with all those valuable Canadian signatures...it might be considered identity theft...

Not too concerned about someone stealing my identity...especially if they can dig me out of my credit fiasco...lol

Same question here, thought there was one but can't find it. Looking at the last one ought to give some a good idea of where it should go this time.

I posted about the new Banner Trip in several forums so everybody would read about it....and make plans to transport it....

When Jim O. starts the new official thread, all the info should be included with a link to the new map.
