TRS Banner Across North America!

Now when the TRS members meet to pass on the banner, would it be preferred to be driving your RBV to meet each other? I know that's a better idea, but it really limits how far I can travel to pick it up (I can go much greater distances on my bike).

I sure hope not, cuz my RBV doesn't move and it isn't around for much longer... I'll be rockin the rice rocket to wherever I drive the banner to

I would like to participate in this but not too sure if my plans will fit with the banner. I am in the military and currently in Hawaii, I could probably do something here but I will be shipping my RBV by the end of May. From there I will be going to California on my way to Colorado. Let me know if there is a gap for Colorado/California and I will let you know when I will be there.

That sounds cools man, there is no way I can add you with a plan like that though. Keep tabs on this thread and depending on where it is when you settle in we'll see what we can do.

Yea Kachemak bay gets knarly as the outer ocean for sure. It would be neat to see peeps doing the handoffs in RBV's but in our case because of shear distance we most likely will have to retrieve it by bush plane. We also have the border issues like customs and passports, who crosses Canadian's into Alaska or visa-versa. If we fly to get it we have to land on the USA side near Beaver Creek or in Tok so these are specifice issues the Canadian members and Alaskan members have to resolve between ourselves. I personally would like to see it above the Arctic Circle at least to Coldfoot and get some pics of it on the Alyeska pipeline.

DANG - there's only two of us so far in TX and we're 20 miles apart and live probably 600 miles from the closest person signed up. Is there a good way to find the location of current TRS members so I can start PM'ing them?

Check the members list under Community, you should be able to do a search based on location, if not, go to Regional forums and click on the region you want to search, and you will have a basic list of members there...

Hahaha I can imagine 2 rangers side by side doing 65 on the highway doing a hand off.
