Well, as of 4pm today, the banner has been passed onto Ben (4.0B2). Went to meet up with Chad (copperhead85), but he had a prior engagement in Nashville and couldn't meet up. So, my day started like this....

Then met up with Ben somewhere between us, I'm on the left, Ben on the right....

Signed the banner, Ben's grease monkey on the far left....

And arrived back home with this on the clock...

So, the banner has traveled precisely 1, 058 miles with me. Ben, glad I got to meet you. One day we'll hit those trails. God speed TRS banner!

I'm back after reading a couple other forums.........

The Banner is now near Memphis................

The Texas guys definitely want the Banner.................

The Oklahoma guys are working on a plan with the Texas guys........

RangerSVT knows some members North of Tennessee who are working on a plan.....

You guys get your plans ironed out.....and whichever direction it comes from---I will make sure it gets to the Texas border/and/or/ the Gulf Coast Eastbound on I-10 toward Miss./Alabama/Georgia/Florida

Too bad we can't get enough people together to let every member on the site sign it. It's amazing how hard it is for people in just 2 countries to meet up. Some of them such short distances apart.

BTW, if anyone is wondering,the other guy in SVT's pics is my dad.

RangerSVT mentioned something about members north of Tennessee might want to sign the Banner.....

Let's see how that works out with RangerSVT and the up-north members before me and you set a day to meet in Jackson, Miss.

Once you and I make a definite Banner exchange plan, I will see if and when the Texas members want to meet at the TEX/LA border.

I want it to get to Miami soon....but everybody needs to make a solid effort to be available to sign or transport it once the Texas /OKLA/ETC Members sign it.

Hey... I resemble that remark. Well it's the engine not the wheels. If we can put the GA/FL leg of the trip off for a few weeks or a month I might have it back together and the new engine broke-in. Otherwise I'll meet up in the Kia.
