Here are some stills of the Knik trip. I really apoligize for the suck quality of the pics, its a borrowed cam that cost 5 times more than my beloved lil Canon that I broke and it was just an amazing cam. Anyways here ya go...
Thinks this is an opps but there you have it Alaska ground and the banner leanin on a $2000 + Akbushwheel... note Jeffs sick hub cover.
Jeff and I at the Bold strip.
Reckon Jeff was scopin the other folks planes. The fella that owns that 170 came over to say hello and drool on Jeff's Maule, if it was winter we would have got a free de-icing.
Nother of Jeff and I at Bold, them aint dandylions they AK wildflowers.
Cruising up the Knik river valley. Like many here the bed itself can be miles wide with water ribbons ever changing. ( note how Jeff has SPOT with a clear sky view)
After hiking over the moraine boulders we get to ancient ice, water and rock. Jeff let me take the easier one cause we had the cam set on a boulder and I had to run for it in 10 sec.
Ok this is probably my favorite pic timeline wise. That water that the banner is in fell upon the earth so many eons ago as rain and snow, when Wholly Mammoths roamed this part of the continent and beyond. All the mountains you guys see in the pics and video at one time were under miles of ice and snow. Food for thought Padwans.
Snagged some ice so it touched Banner...
This was great iffin you was there. I said hey Jeff imma jump on that lil burg. Yea it was cool till my boots hit it she started OUT. Hahahah fun times.
Im telling you that was touchin rock when I jumped on, I was fixin to wave Jeff so long hahaha.
Jeff J just touching down from his leap to land.
Nother bush pilot heading to who knows where. Jeff checked with him though and good to go.
Big Jeff sportin the banner. Say hell ya... thats ma bro right there. Good folks for sure.
Some wimp with the banner...
