Hows this thing going to make it to ont? Its a long drive to Saskatchewan where the next closest member is. From there its a rather long drive around the great lake to civilization in Ontario.

Unless one of us in Calgary takes it to the states and they move it to Ontario?

I thought the point was to hit as many provinces/states possible...?

it is, but it's not the purpose for the banner to be driven by a single member 4 or 5 days to meet the next person...

Mail...fedex...UPS...or carrier pigeon...when it hits a dry spot the last person could forward it...not rocket surgery...or brain science...it might cost about $10 to mail...more for the others...but it could be taken out of the weezl retirement fund...I'd be willing to ship it to Quebec...costs less than a tank of gas there and back...

you can't ship it... that defeats the purpose of the whole thing! the purpose of the banner is to have it cross the continent by no other means than hand to hand, from member to member...

Possibly, just need to arrange a proper time to do it. Skagway is closest to me, Tok would be alright as well. Might be possible in some long weekend.

WEEZ is bitching. Cant blame him after us all chomping at the bit for the first one. He also was an advocate to get it to Alaska and flow it down, We have our game and the folks in the 907 gunna show ya cool stuff.

Basically Tok and Northway the same, probably would have 3000+ miles as the crow flys when you take it over.

basically, i just want this banner to see as many members as possible, as quickly as possible! and as close to every canadian member as it can

i would love to see this thing hit Tom in Haida Gwaii, as he's an amazing contributor to this site, and also RSH in honduras, but i don't think RSH is really an option for this one... Gwaii is though, he's right up there near you alaska and yukon people!

You can just about see the tip of Alaska from the top the islands on a good day. From what I remember its ~30miles as the crow flies.
I'm not suggesting it's feasible tho, it's just an info nugget.
