TRS Banner Across North America 2012 - Alaska to Key West Florida (OFFICIAL)

I'm in Kansas, Northeast Kansas if that helps at all moving the map along. Would like to get to know a few more ranger guys in this area too.

If you're near Topeka...you're on the Map!

I bet you at the stadium they are going to make A LOT off of concessions, if you catch my drift.

You guys are slipping.....not one comment tonite about the "mile HIGH city"!

Well I used to live in Topeka, I now live just north of Lawrence, but I don't think I am on the map. I really don't know how to put myself on the map, but I do see that the banner is going to be within an hour of my location here in a week or so. Seeing if I could help out, or at least get a signature on the banner and maybe meet a few ranger guys around this area.

Oh alright well I just looked at the map and now I am on it. It says Berryton because that is my previous location, I just changed it to current location in my profile, but close enough, I'm only 20 minutes away from Berryton. What direction is this map moving? Is it going south from Garnette? Or are we trying to get it into the Kansas City area? If so, I'm practically right in between Garnette and KC. Let me know how I can help!

Hue hue :D
But I'm in Wichita falls, so if you guys get the banner somewhere close I'd like to stop by.

Might as well of moved it today. I'm positive it would have been more entertaining than the game. Not really and great commercials either. Oh well. T-minus seven days til the banner moves again.

As for the Superbowl being a reason for delaying the Banner...........................................This means that the Terrorists have won :bawling:.......EDIT: errrr.....the Seahawks have won!

All the local stations are saying it's supposed to snow more, but accuweather says I'm good to go. Couldn't remember exactly where getrdone wil be coming from, so I didn't look his location up, just where I am and where we plan to meet up.

Sorry, bben, you missed it by about 6 months

The banner has moved!

Left home last night after work with the wife as co-pilot, so that we wouldn't have to get up so early today. Stopped and ate, and then drove til we got tired and stayed the night in Salina. Next morning, got a message from Ryan (getrdone52) letting me know he'd left, ate breakfast and then took off ourselves.

I-70 definitely doesn't show off much of what Kansas has to offer.

Although once you get into the Smoky Hills region there are some pretty cool (at least I think so) windfarms to break up the bleakness.

These things are MASSIVE. I looked up the specs for them, and the blades range from 115 to 165 feet long, and the hubs are 262 feet high.

Met up with Ryan in WaKeeney, KS. While we scouting for the best place to meet up, we came across this. I think this is only the second one I've ever seen in person...

Ryan arrived, I signed the banner, and we went our separate ways. I regret not going over his truck more, it looked like a pretty capable rig, but it was effing cold, and the snow had started coming down again, and wanted to get headed back home.

Miles I've logged in the banner trek thus far.
