Worthwhile or tourist trap?

I'd say worthwhile. There is some cool stuff to look at and things that remind you of episodes. There are also a lot of souvenir items to choose from if you want that, too. I'm glad I came.

Hey Frank Fritz has his own store, grill&bar, concert venue less than an hour north in Savanah, Illinois.

The show is deceiving. When you watch American Pickers you get the impression that Mike and Frank are in business together and sell their items at the store in Iowa and Tennessee. It also seems like Dani works for both of them, and you see shots of them all at the store together.

Mike and Frank pick together, but have their own businesses. As you mentioned, Frank actually has his own store, and also sells online. But they never show or mentions Frank's store, so everyone goes to Mike's store, because they don't know Frank's exists.

Mike's business has gotten so big that he has the two stores. Obviously because of the show. But I don't think Frank has done as well, because he doesn't get the equal exposure.

After about 12.5 hours I arrived in Marion, IL for the night. Tomorrow afternoon I'll be in Attica. I'll be looking forward to a camp fire tomorrow night.

I spoke with a woman in a store that used to work for them. Frank is more of an introvert and doesn't like the attention. I think she said Danielle actually lives in Texas now.
