Trimming Fenders and factory flares

Anyone had luck on a Gen 3 trimming the fenders and flares on the front? I have clearance at the bumper but when turning I rub on the bottom of the fender and flare and am thinking I need to trim it up a bit until I re-do the front lift to clear, anyone had any luck doing this?

people do it all the time. just cut it off

You most likely wont be able to keep the factory flare though

You can trim the steel and pull the flare back for close to an inch of clearance but any
thing more than that is gonna need some real trimming.

Yeah ended up pulling the factory flare, Had to trim a lot off the corner of the fender, Post some pics later. I will probably cut the whole fender following the original flare lines
