What were all the different trim packages for the Ranger. The reason I asked is I could of sworn I've seen a Ranger with VIP on the side and was wondering if it's for real or not. It's a generation 1 truck.

Plain "Ranger"
Ranger S
Custom
STX
XLS
XL
XLT
GT
There might be more, that is all I can remember for the older trucks.

I have seen "Lariet" and "Explorer" on the side in decals, big ones like the STX trucks have so they are probably original.

I have never heard of a "VIP" Ranger, not to say it doesn't exist but if it does it is a new one to me.

yes the explorer was a trim option just seen one the other day and i used to have one.
