XL--base model, vinyl seat and floor mat, no chrome
XLT--cloth interior, carpet on most, A/C, chrome bumper and grill
Edge--body-color trim, XLT cloth seats but has vinyl floor mat (no carpet)
There are some variations between model years

I have a 98 XLT.. is this the same thing as the newer rangers?
