has anyone ever put a floor shifter on a 4r44e trans , i’m looking to buy a 2011 xl with a 2.3 engine. i was curious i’ve this was possible ?

Don’t see why not, you would need a push/pull shifter and probably a custom bracket. The A4LD had a floor shifter for a few years and it’s not much different than the 4R and 5R transmissions

all the research i’ve done i can’t find any information on a mega shifter being put in a late model auto trans ranger so yeah some custom work is definitely gonna have to happen i think

you need to make it work. the gm detent scenario allows 4 positions like an a4ld...you will have to make a mount/bellcrank.

i have had my b&m on a c4-aod-4r70-c6-and 4l80 in my ranger.....same shifter...

302/351 gas...6.2/6.5 diesel.
