transmission swap

hi guys this is my first time posting here this what i have on my plate today i got a 1993 ranger 4x4 supper cab with a 4.0 she is a 5 speed i want to change it to a automatic the transmission is out of a 3.0 will it bolt up or will i have to used the 3.0 motor to ?

it wont bolt up. i recomend buying a 4.0 auto from a junkyard rather than trying to swap in the 3.0.

but id recomend even stronger to stay with the 5 speed. the autos used in the rangers are weak and extremely unreliable.
