will a fm146 from an 89 ranger with a 2.9 bolt up to a 4.0 in a 93 explorer?

okay I have read some other posts and learned that it will bolt up but may not last long may have to baby it, so if I bolt up the fm146 to the explorer 4.0 what issues will I run into with the computer. what will I have to do to make it work?

Before anything else, why the HELL would you go through the hassle of changing a transmission, and putting a fm146 behind a 4.0? do yourself a favor and find an M5OD. Its not worth the hassle.
