Transmission Help Please!!!

i have a 96 ford ranger auto. 4x4, and my trans. slips wen i get to about 45-50mph. especially when i try and accelerate quick, and wont go into gear until i get off the gas and the rpms get down to about 2500-3000. any solutions????

start by checking the simple stuff. fluid level. how many miles on it?

solution? buy mine for 400 bucks that has 6000 miles on it. its a 94 though. not sure if its the same
