- In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Sometimes I wedge a piece of wood between the cables/ fuel lines and the frame. That way when the drill bit breaks the through the metal, it hits the wood and doesn't damage anything else.
Regular metal cutting drill bits are what you need. I would use 1/2" bolts with lock washers and nuts.
