Tranny Kit

Hey Guys,

Bought a M5R1 rebuild kit on e-bay. It has syncro rings or blockers, but they don't have the fiber backing like the ones in the reassembly tutorial.

I got the kit from All State Gear in San Antonio. Did I get the wrong kit. I have never ever seen fibre backing on syncro rings. Just solid brass.

That is fine. Use what they sent you. There are alot of companies going to the fiber backed syncro rings.

Reread your post you doubled back on yourself.

My fluid got low due to the plug leaks. Hope there is not a lot of damage in there.
