OK, Ive been coming here for a few years now, and finally registered. I love the site, but I am confused about something. I happen to have a bw t-5 trans out of my turbo coupe, I have the m5od in my 94 sport, (reman bought last year) and I bought a donor 91 explorer that has a nicely working a4ld auto. Ive read a lot on these, and I still don't know which is the best/strongest. I'm getting ready to replace my axles (thanks to a slick Michigan road, high curb, and remotely placed telephone pole last December), while I have it down I want to go ahead and make a few other changes, and the trans is always a consideration in these projects. All right, let the opinions fly, but especially you mechanics and engineers...keep it civil fellas, Ive read a lot of these threads.
