sorry to thread jack, but i was wondering out how to wire my pickup for trailers if it didnt originally come with the tow package??

All you need is the adapter (basically what this post is about). All Rangers have that connector under the bumper, not all have the adapter. Unplug the connector, plug in the adapter harness in between them. viola!

Handy little system they have going there.

go to any parts store, and ask for a heavy duty flasher. The 4 ways and turn signal use separate units. Find the one that clicks, when the turn signals are on.

4 wire or 7 wire?

95-98ish use a 5 pin flasher that controls both the turns and the hazards in one flasher...

nope, i sure haven't. i have an ad up on craigslist and i've stopped everywhere i've seen a vacant garage, parking lot, or barn. either they're not available or think their property is sitting on time square.

More of the sea, even though I'm rarely on a boat. I had a "u-boat" beard for a while and everyone said i looked like a pirate and called me Captain. Ledd is short for a callsign in a game I played years back. The Avitar is from "Rocko's Modern Life" called "Crappy Jack", I just liked the character, an old sea hand who told all kinds of ridiculous long winded stories.

Anywho, behold, one of the few pictures of me floating around on the internets:

If i could find land that someone would let me use, i have a military maintenance tent i could set up. only reason i'm not doing that now is my landlord has a strict policy about doing any kind of maintenance on their property. they don't let me change my oil here....

thats what i was working out of in lincoln. only got away with it cuz i knew the owners. i tried all the places around here and they will lock up your stuff if they even think you are breaking their hazmat policy.

go to walmart and get the adapter like said above, it goes inline in a connector that's there already so the bed can be taken off easier.
