Trailer Lighting :icon_confused:

You could always snip the covering back on the existing ground wire and run your own to it.

Im not sure which one is the ground on the vehicles trailer connector. All 4 wires go up into the loom. I pulled the loom apart for about 4 feet yesterday and they were still goin back into it.
Edit: Well I guess if I would have thought about it the white is probably the ground on the vehicle side as well. I'll run a ground from the vehicle white to the frame and see if that works.

Yep it's the white one..

Brown is Running.

Yellow and Green are both turn signals and brake lights.

Well I wasn't joking, I've spent hours running batteries dead and then all it boiled down to was a bad ground. Scrape of a small section on the undersid of the trailer and hook up there for testing and to a good bare spot on the truck frame. I've watched freinds spend hours doing the same thing.

After you find the problem then you can take a shaker can and spray the bare spots so rust doesn't start to attack your frames.

Well I ended up running a ground of the vehicles trailer connecter to where the bumper mounts to the frame and same situation. Then I ran a jumper ground from the trailer to the new ground I made and same same. So I dont know what to do. I have another trailer wirinig kit I just might redo all the wiring and see what happens.
