Trailer hitch fitment

OK, so I have the opportunity to pick up a cheap trailer hitch from a 97 explorer, and I'm wondering if it will fit my 93 ranger. I'm not exactly sure about the interchangeability of these parts between the two. Has anyone here tried this?

It won't fit a Ranger.

NO NO NO and more of that!!!! lol Go find a Ranger hitch....crap scrap yard or go to your parts store...or better...buy it on Ebay like I did for both front and rear Reese Hitches.....Great , very well made hitches.

Bahahaha!!! theres a class I reese hitch on ebay that wants $400 to ship to canada!

Junkyards are probably your best option. They are $20 at the local wrecker here, and there are plenty of options to choose from (And you can check fitment before leaving the yard.)
