the truck you could probably buy for like 8k, considering its forsale

How much?

I suppose I would have paid whatever he wanted to get me out of a mud hole in the middle of a mountain meadow with nothing to winch to and no pick and shovel....:bawling:

I now have a pick and shovel. :yahoo:

Ya your right. I guess I take it for granted the area that I live in. I never lock my house, truck, whatever. Im not at home right now and no one is home and nothing is locked:c-n:and nothing will happen.

I love the UP

So far the worst that's happened to me is having to sit and wait for 4 hours for a friend to come pull my dumb @$$ free. Don't worry though, I had another friend to keep me company, a cooler full of beer, and plenty of smokes.

Had a friend in high school though, him an his brothers were out on their quads (two of the like workhorse type and one racing type), the one with the racing type quad hit a jump an when he landed broke both axles. They tied the broken one on between the two good ones an headed for home, lol.

I've wanted to at some point build a military 6x6 for towrig duty... outfit it with a compressor, generator, welder, workbench, etc. There's a lot of places that you could get some monster like that in close to where you would be broke at and have the gear to do just about any repair. Have to build one wicked trailer though if you wouldn't be able to fix things there and had to take it out on a stretcher....

the one tow company has a jeep just for tow recovery with 35s and a 12'000lb winch i was talking to him and he just goes by with the high lift and the winch he can get pretty much anything out. just straps the back of the jeep to a tree for the heavier trucks

Another was when my Uncle did something to his Jeep out on the trail ('what', I don't remember) and their friend was towing him out and my uncles front bumper was barely snagged on a big tree going around this corner and thier friend just kept giveing it throttle to get it to slide around it. Well, my unlce picks up the cb and yells "Woow (is that how you would spell it?) woow", and their frind thought he yel "go" so he gassed it, and it just picked the side of my uncles Jeep up and laid it on it's side...

I think the "word" you a looking for is "Woah!" like you yell at a horse when you wanna stop...

Thing is in some instances horses are as smart (or smarter)
as anyone who happens to be in proximity to a CB radio:)

"STOP!" is a better word that cannot be mistaken for something else
