traction arms?

I've got an 88 2.9l Supercab with 235 ATs and no lift. I get some wheel hop on dirt roads. Would traction arms help, or are they mostly just for lifted trucks with significantly larger than stock tires?

you can put them on any car or truck. are you sure its wheel hop and not the wash boards in the road? if you need a pair, james duff.com has some nice ones.
