Toyota 3l diesel engine swap

Go find a junk 80s F150 with a 300 I6 and a creeper 4sp.

That drivetrain and a good set of 4.11 gears and you wont even miss the diesel. Except for maybe fuel mileage.

That's not bad... I'd a picked it up... People around here think they are worth their weight in gold... I looked at buying a beat up, rusty, shot to hell FJ60 for almost $5000... An 80 series that drives never goes below 8 or 9 grand... That's along with everything though... An explorer with a bad trans and blown HG I couldn't get for less than $3000, a Trooper with a seized engine they wanted $4000 for... This area is nuts...

there is a lifted 82 FJ60 down the road from me for $1500 ........ its rusty...... It used to be mine, nothing really wrong with it I just wanted a better ride and fuel injection.

I'm gonna keep looking for a non-rusty 60 or 80... Hopefully by the end of undergrad I'll have amassed enough money for a 1HD-T swap...
