not a whole lot lol maybe a small camper, anything bigger will toss around a b2 like its a toy

Im not 100% on this, but Im pretty sure the bumper is rated to pull like 3000lbs - I know Explorers were 3500lbs pulling on the bumper... Check the max gvw, should be on a sticker inside the door. With 2 average sized passengers, your B2 weighs around 4000lbs, so subtract that from your GVW, and thats how much you can pull in an ideal situation (good hitch, your truck isn't loaded with stuff, ect.)

Also, I wouldn't want to be putting more than about 2500lbs behind the automatic tranny, especially if you have to go up/down lots of hills.

I've pulled around 2000 pounds in my 89 auto. I thought it handled it pretty well. If I'm not mistaken, The door sticker on mine says something around 4,280 pounds. I read somewhere the curb weight on a bronco ii is about 3500 pounds. So technically, 4 two hundred pound people in the bronco is overweight.

Use a "light duty" (single bar) weight distributing hitch and you should have no issues with the weight of the trailer making the vehicle unstable (I've towed a 6x12' enclosed box trailer weighing around 3800lbs with my BII no problem, though it did take the little 2.9L V6 a bit to get it up to speed).

Ive flat towed another BII with my stock BII with the 2.9 and aod trans with out any issues. Infact, it towed damn well. Could hit highway speeds no problem. Ive also had a 3000 safe and trailer behind it as well. The issue is brakes when towing. o.O
