towed out of woods

don't feel bad dude, I had to be recovered by a chevy avalanche at the badlands once. burried the suburban good and I got recovered by a 1/2 ton avalanche with a 6.0L on street tires.

you can try to use the hair dryer to help dry out the distr. cap, I have done that before and it seemed to work

Look, just get waisted and mud thru some farmers muddy field!:thefinger:

I'm just encouraging you to have some respect for yourself. All we can see of you is what you type. You might be the smartest person in Newfoundland for all I know, but how am I supposed to know? Not many people are going to want to try to explain things to a complete idiot, and to me it's disrespectful to people that you are communicating with if you arne't a complete idiot and are writing that way. If my 8 year old wrote like that I would spend the majority of my life in parent-teacher conferences. I know you aren't an idiot so I would appreciate it if you would take 15 seconds to look through what you wrote and make it somewhat more presentable. If you don't want to, that's fine with me. The world expert at 2.9 failures may have looked into your thread and then moved on because he felt he would need access to the Rosetta Stone to decipher your meaning.

So instead of typing all of this, I made a little joke hoping you would take the point. It was not my plan to belittle you. But if that is your best effort then I apologize for being insensitive.

lol, far from the smartest kid in newfoundland. but im jus used to typin this way, even the scatter time that i do work in class i spell like "fer, u, dat, y, yer, tink, etc".
and i have nothing against you, i enjoy the humor until everyone starts pickin it up an i feel like the little guy who always gotta look up at everyone

He's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 15,000 post by next week tuesday.

If I’m not sure I'm spelling something right, I just cut/paste my text to Outlook and do a spelling and grammar test. It takes two seconds. I'm actually looking to take some English classes at the local community collage, because I'm tired of second guessing myself all the time. It's worth it to pay attention when you’re in school, that way you don't have to pay for it later. Employers don't like pigeon talk.

If you have Firefox it automatically spell checks for you. I'm sure the newest IE does, too, along with Google Chrome.

Haha guys it not his fault you guys don't speak Newfienesse:D, and if you think thats bad you should the way we talks sometimes haha. And I'm from central Newfoundland too by the way, Badger specifically.

haha thanks man, not our fault we got a diffrent language lol.

anyways i got the truck going i just changed the rotor button in the dist. cap and now i got to change the sylenoid which will take me about 5 mins cause i already got one

lol well, not so sure about that
i changed the sylenoids and all she will do is tick now, even being boosted so im gonna check the grounds on the starter and battery

Shake the cables around too, they can corrode inside the insulation and not be worth poop. Try turning on the headlights, try to crank it, and see if the lights dim out on you. If they do, you'll know it is a power starvation problem.

i traced the problem to either the starter or a bad starter ground or something so i will check that out if not today then tomorrow
