Alright so as i'm sure u can figure out i'm new and in need of some desperate wisdom.

Question #1:

i have been told that torsion keys for a mid 90's silverado will comply with my 04 Ranger...is this true?

Question #2:

Will a helper spring raise my truck the 2" that the torsion adjustment will? if so which ones? where can they b found?

Question #3:

With lookin at roughly 2" of lift wut is the largest tire i should try and squeeze under there without worryin bout any rubbin?

Anythin u have 2 offer will b greatly appreciated, rushin is never a good thing 2 do especially when it comes 2 work on a mans truck but i leave 4 basic training here soon and am tryin 2 get this done so i can atleast wheel it once before i leave.

thanks again,
alex

Point form here cause I don't have much time:

Doesn't matter, keys are a waste of money, just crank bars it accomplishes the EXACT same thing.

An Add-A-Leaf kit will yes, but that only applies to the rear of course. Just google it to find one.

31's or 32's'll fit

:icon_cheers:

Well you can fit a 33x10.50 and 32x11.50 stock with no rubbing. I fit 33x12.50 Maxxis Big Horns with only a T bar crank. My truck has the bumper cover that extends down more and the tires rubbed on that.

torsion keys = the suck. just steer clear of them. balljoint angles, CV shaft angles, rough ride, deteriorating torsion bars, does the same exact thing as cranking your torsion bars...but to a greater extreme.

just crank your bars. You can fit 32x11.50 or 33x10.50 with a minimal torsion crank with no rub. You may or may not need to trim the lower corner of the valence to better clear those. I didnt, but 04+ valences need some trim there as they are so squared off.

'Helper spring' would only be for the rear of the truck. It will get you approx 1.5" of lift. You can get the same by cranking your torsion bars up front.
