Im looking for a set of torsion keys for my 2000 ranger. ext cab 4X4 3.0l V6. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Why? The stock keys will allow you to crank the front end up as far as you should go anyway. Anymore than 2" and you'll be putting a lot of wear and tear on CV joints, tie rods, ball joints, etc.

Or if you really must have the keys, you can find them on ebay.

I got 2" lift on the front of mine very easily w/o the keys. I had to change one bolt (stock wasn't long enough) , but that was literally just changing a bolt.

I put set in an 08 fx4 the other day at work because there wasn't any threads left on the factory bolts. The ones I put in were made by Truxx http://truxxx.com/ford_products/101050.htm

They fit 95-08 tbar front ends on ranger/explorers

They were a little scary to install, ended up using a big 2 jaw puller to wind them up enough to get the bolts back in.

So if i crank up the front bars and put 2" blocks in the back can i get away with it?

That's what I did, but I didn't even block the rear. 2" crank just levelled the truck out perfectly. I might end up putting blocks or shackles in the back, but probably only 1" and that's just so that I can carry some camping gear/cooler etc without the back end sagging down too much.

Fit's 265/75's (31.7"x10.5) quite nicely without rubbing.

You probably will have to change your d side bolt to get 2" out of it though, mine would only go about 1.25" on the oem bolt.

How many turns can i go to get about an inch and a half? I dont want to turn them up too far so it rides really bad. Also an alignment would be a good idea i would imagine?

It will be different for each side (driver/passenger) so it's impossible to say "how many turns". The only way is to guess and check, I recommend starting with about 5 turns for the driver side and then however many you need to match the pass side. Drive the truck each time you check as well, when you put it back on the ground the tires need to roll and bounce to settle the adjusted bars. Using this method you should be able to get it where you want in about 3-4 attempts.

And make you sure know what you're doing. This adjustment can cause major problems if not completed correctly. Also if you're changing a bolt (or both of them) make sure you research and get the right one.....

When you cranked yours up where did u measure from? i would guess where the A arm connects to the truck... from there to the floor?
