Which should I go with? I want a true 3" of lift. Truxx style torsion key lift, or fabtech spindle lift.

replacing spindles would be my first choice...suspension geometry is important.

having said that I have no idea what the other option is (I'm new to trucks, but not to suspensions.) My work machine is much too slow or I'd search to find out what you are talking about...so if you'd be so kind to provide a link I might be a little more helpful.

EDIT: torsion key, I'm assuming that's at the rear part of the TB...where the bolt to adjust goes. I personally wouldn't choose that route for one reason. TB is a spring...Springs sag over time. Do the permanent fix, and then use the TB's to adjust from there. then get an alignment.

DO NOT run 'lift' torsion keys!!!

They put an extreme amount of preload on your bars, and allow you to crank the bars FARTHER than you want to. You'll be eating up balljoints and tierods like crazy. If you've got a 4x4, say good bye to your CV shafts really fast. Plus, they do the exact same thing as cranking your bars, they just allow you to crank even more, to a dangerous level. I mean, unless you like spending $500 in ball joints every year and having a rough ride and having saggy torsion bars because they are cranked so much...go ahead.

Spindles.
