They have been available for a while now. I got one and had it installed about a year and a half ago. It works very well with the rear Torsen.

they had been out of stock for a while, just did another production run.

I'm on the fence about the rear, leaning towards another Torsen (or equiv) or a selectable locker.
Its a daily driver, so an LSD or auto-locker is not my preferred choice.

If my FX4 didn't have the Torsen in the rear, I would have installed a selectable locker. I searched long and hard for a selectable locker for the front but there is nothing available unless one was willing to do a lot of work to get it to fit.

Regardless, no regrets with two Torsens. Those front Torsens must be in good demand if they are running out of stock.

Gee I thought the FX-4 Level2 trucks had torsens FRONT and Rear...

The 02 FX4 and all 03+ FX4 L2 had Torsen in the rear and open in the front from the factory.
