Hi everyone, we had an EF-3 tornado come through Mississippi, and it put a tree in the passenger side taking out the fender door and front and side glass along the side front to back. Anyway I have had this BII since 89, so going to be on the lookout for another body to replace the " totaled " body .

Bodies shouldn't be that hard to find, glad no one got hurt.

It was only on second reading that I realized you were referring to BII bodies.

Again glad nobody got hurt. A shame about the BII

You can replace a Bronco, but not a life.

That definitely sucks.. Is it covered by insurance?

hope everyone is good. if you cannot find a B2 throw a ext cab ranger cab on there and notch the rear cab corners for tires. tiny tube bed and you got a sweet rig.

The salvage yard near my house had nearly 100 pre 1990 Ford trucks , Broncos, Rangers. etc......very few had body damage!

I went there again a couple weeks ago and....................

every last one of the older Fords were gone!!!!!!!!!

It was a sad day for old Fords that still had plenty of years left in them.

Thanks everyone for the responses! no one was hurt, we were in house when tornado went over. NO comp. Insurance though because of the age of the BII. I may need to vist New Orleans to check out some salvage yards, to see if I can find a Bronco II Body. Thanks again, and chime in if anyone knows of a non running, good Bronco II Body around the south.

Are you near Tupelo? We used to live there. We have property in Iuka and Paden. All of our families up there were fine and no damage thank goodness. Just scary!!!

Ah man. That sucks. But at least every body is alright. I agree with the posts above, a vehicle can be replaced, but people can't. Are you sure that the body can't be saved by buying and welding in new panels, or is the structure of that side just that messed up?

Sorry for late replies. I think welding and straightening is out of question..too far damaged.

I am finding plenty of early 86-88 BII year bodies around here close, BUT does anyone know just how much headache it would be to use just a rear body from a 86-88 BII body, considering the dashes are different and been told wiring harnesses are not the same.

I would think I could change the dashes as well, but just seeing if that is something I would want to even tackle, or if I should just keep searching for an 89-90 BII body.

The problem I am running into is location of the 89-90 BII's for sale. Usually over 300 or so miles away from me, and not running.
