I have a '94 Mazda B2300 with a manual transmission that I have been rebuilding and I have access to a Ford close-ratio top loader that I thought might be fun to put in. Doesn't look like an easy project if even possible. Anybody know what I'd have to do/change/modify to get it in there? Can't seem to find anything about this. My clutch is hydraulic. Thanx much in advance.

Well i think hurdle #1 would be finding a bell housing for it... I don't know of anyone who makes a toploader bell housing for the lima engine. Might be able to find a 302 adapter plate though.

Thanks. I think that's gonna be the show stopper right there. Talked to a transmission shop on the Internet, that supposedly specializes in transmission swaps, that claimed to have one, but the picture he sent didn't look right, so I passed. Besides, he wanted $700 for it. I thought I'd do a little more looking.
