The US version is almost unwatchable, but I try to watch UK Topgear whenever I can on BBC America. It's too bad Netflix only has up to Season 13
The Toyota Hilux episode is still one of my favorites
I haven't seen most of the first season of US TG, but I enjoyed what I saw, I think they got nervous about living up to the name and accidentally overdid it as opposed to intentionally overdoing it. I have faith that one day it will be as good as UK TG.
Also, because now i'll get to see more american car reviews for cars that are actually sold here lol as opposed to a Fiat Panda or something.
Also, I firmly believe that Top GearUK is a big reason why they are bothering to export the Fiat 500 to America as I doubt anyone here would of known, or cared about it otherwise.
The US version just seems too scripted, or they're are just trying to hard to read off of a prompter. Granted, the UK TopGear is scripted as well, but it seems Hammond, May, and Clarkson do a good job to make it not seem that way. Also, I had objections about the US version putting that F-150 Raptor on their road course. That's A LOT of truck to be tossing into a corner haha.
I'd like to drive one of those 500's though, espicially the Abarth version. I see those cars running around all over the place in lower Michigan
