This tool is designed to remove the annoying MagicJack UI from the desktop and run your MagicJack behind the scenes as a Windows service. It is totally automated and only takes a few seconds to run. It has been tested with Windows 7 and Vista, but should work on all versions of Windows runnng MagicJack. Benefits include:

- No more UI popups or desktop phone call notifications
- MagicJack is functional even when user is logged off, and works under all user accounts
- No splash screen or waiting for MagicJack to load

Does it say which file? There are two required files, wrk001.rsc and wrk002.rsc that need to be in the same directory as MSC.exe.

Does it error when you try to open the program?

those two files are their is sayin now C:\mijusbsp\big.skn' already exsists then says failed

Try this:
Delete C:\mijusbspp
Plug magicjack in and click "Launch MagicJack" when the dialog comes up
Once MagicJack is running, try running the tool again.

I am going to have to add more validation to the program than what's there now.

ok found it deleted it reinstalled... now it comes up path octvqe1_apiw.dll' is denied... so i guess ill try and see wat that is... im runnin windows 7 so i have know idea but i appreciate the help and everything

You need to run the app as an administrator...that could be the problem.

i am the administrator the only one on the computer

in vista or 7 you need to right click it and choose run as admin.

What I meant is that Windows 7 administrator accounts still run apps with limited permissions. You have to right click on the EXE and select "Run as Administrator". I set up my program to request escalated privilages at run time (you should receive a permissions prompt when you launch it). I was thinking its not escalating correctly as it was denied access to that API.

did that i think its just my computer it crashed a couple of weeks ago and i havent got it running just right yet
