Oops, that's not going to work... I don't know anything about a Travel-All...

to make things easy on you. find a D30 from a cherokee for the front. 96 -2001 explorer rear axle (those had disc breaks) you will need to flip the spring perches on the explorer axle but then it is a direct bolt in swap (you may need a proportioning valve for the rear brakes).
if you are like me and don't want to use a crappy jeep rejected axle find a HP Dana44 from a big bronco and get it cut down. judging by the questions you ask you are going to need to be supervised when you do your SAS anyways so you might as well get an axle that is common and easy to find and get it cut down to fit.
um no the rodeo came with a D44 as early as '93 and they are leaf spring. the gears and carriers are cheaper and more readly advalible. not to mention I would love to see you guys break and 8.8 axle on 33" tires and watch the whole thing walk out, as to the rodeo does NOT use c-clips and also come with disc brakes with a drum parking brake center. cheaper, strong, and safer way out weights stuborn ford parts. horse blinders get you as far as BROKE! just like you cant use TBI springs on a straight axle. tell these guys to actualy wrench and not type, nothing like seeing to believing.
I never said anything about the Rodeo not getting the D44, I was thinking about the Troopers, which got an Isuzu/GM corporate 12-bolt... My mistake... Now, being that the Rodeo isn't offered anymore in the US, parts are going to be even harder to find than they were in the first place... I don't know why you are thinking that axle is easier to find parts for... It's not going to be cheaper in the long run, it's not going to be stronger ever, and the only reason you think it's safer is because it's a non c-clip... I've never actually seen an 8.8" lose a wheel (due to axle breakage)... If you are going to break an 8.8" axle shaft the D44 will break first... I don't have any idea where the "TBI" (you mean TTB?) comment came from...
