So in the past I've never mentioned which pest control company I work for, mostly because I'm ashamed of my job.

But this was way too cool to not post. One of our technicians got a new truck, after the drive shaft FELL OUT of his Silverado, he requested a Ford.

Behold!

Ain't she a beauty?

Only thing missing is a big ol bug on the roof!!... but I think that is that "other" company

I'm diggin the wheels. Talk about bling.

Terminix is a great company. We have used them before several times and we got a got job done right the first time!!!

i work at autozone and we have 2wd auto ford rangers.....they're pretty nice for the base model. only problem is that it is a regular cab (i think) and my 6'5" ass dont fit too well

A buddy of mine works for Orkin (I know, your competitor), but his work truck is a Ranger. In fact, his "weekend" truck is a '98 Explorer.

He rocks.

Why be ashamed that you make honest money and support yourself?

Now if you were on every kind of assistance you could get and put up a pic of a new Ford rollin' on 26" rims that was yours, then you should be ashamed.........and bitch slapped.

Never be scared to admit that you take care of yourself. I applaud you. Hell in this economy, it's good to have a job at all. I know some that would do your job for less than you make.

Topher, there's nothing wrong with doing a dirty disgusting job. As long as you do it with pride, honesty, and integrity.

It's a job. You do animal control. End of story.

Right on. That's pretty cool that they got him a the Real Truck he requested!

Agreed. My service manager asked for his new truck to be an F150 and they stuck him with another POS Silverado anyway. It's about time they listened. I'm half tempted to drive my truck off a cliff so they'd have to buy me a new one :D

What he said.

be proud you have a job, too many people feel they are entitled to
things that most people have to work hard for.

I'd work at McDonald's before I took a government handout created by other people's hard work.

But at the end of the day, I still feel like I'm this guy...

Not maintaining a driveline will result in that. It's not just a Chevy that it can happen to. Break it just right and any drive shaft can fall out.
