And I guess the government should control EVERYTHING right? After all they are smarter than us and they know what is best for us. I am not defending tobacco, just their right to advertise. Everything else on my list and then some would all go away if some people had their way. I mean jeez we won't even be able to get good light bulbs anymore. The free market would decide (if we still had a free market) who the winners and losers are. But these days the government decides who the winners and losers are because (according to them) the public at large isn't smart enough to figure it out for themselves. Little by little they are taking away our freedom and liberty and replacing it with tyranny.
Haven't you heard: 0bama will take care of everything, you won't have to make any more decisions for yourself.

The people themselves do not vote for the president, they merely suggest that another person provide their electoral vote... an individual's own vote doesn't count for shit.
I don't know if i'm taking this how you meant, but are you saying that you see people who smoke as weak?I am speaking from a medical/state of health standpoint, not from the position of someone too weak to get through a day without a chemical boost to their mood.
I understand the electoral college. And yes, an individual's vote counts. If it didn't, candidates wouldn't spend millions on their election runs, they'd simply court the delegates.

It's all a show, a ruse, a play, all put on to persuade... that's it. The individual doesn't matter.
