To those with a topper and plastic bedliner

How do you compensate for that stupid lip that wraps up and over the front part of the box? It jacks the topper up ~5/16" and makes it hard to get a good seal without using excessive amounts of foam weatherstripping. :annoyed:
 
My bed liner has a plastic lip all the way around.
I used the padded sealing strip between that and the bed ... and then another layer of the sealing padding between the bed liner and the cap.
Works ok for me.

Had to cut holes in the bed liner so I could use the cap hold down clamps
 
cut the lip off.. problem solved.
 
unless you want to cut up the bedliner you will hafe to put 2 layers of tape down like i had to do
