okay here goes nothing......... I was going to mod the dana 28 ttb but I felt why go through the effort to only have it break. So I ripped it all out and went to the junkyard. I found a hp dana 44 but it is missing the spindles out its the only one he has any way I have a really nice 12 bolt gm rear axle and a dana 44 lp chevy axle with the flat top knuckles I've searched and found that the chevy knuckles out will bolt on the ford hp 44 but I am missing the axleshafts for the ford the short side chevy will work but the long side is 1 3/8 to long. I am using a lockright in the front do I have to trim the shaft or since the lockright doesn't have a center pin can I run it?
