Tires & shocks?

The rancho shocks on the truck now are rusty, the rears are very hard to move up down, but on the truck they move up down a good 1/2" with no resistance. Means bad to me.
Monroe and I go back maybe 45 years so I'll probably wind up with them at some point lol. I did just find another manufacturer, FCS, Carid has em, I like the price.
in my experience, you get what you pay for with shocks. i just installed a set of rancho rs5000 shocks in the front of my f150. rides super smooth with completely worn out front tires.

monroes are decent. gabriels arent bad. ive had great success with kyb. and im too cheap to try the more expensive brands.

rear shocks, i always use monroe air shocks in all my trucks, aired to 20pso for normal driving. and aired up according to the trailer im towing.

another budget brand ive used, on ebay, look up "SENSEN" i had them on a couple of my trucks. they did the job and rode fine. might wanna look into them

I put a set of rancho's on the front of my 98 ttb and they lasted about 20k before they started rattling and went out. I bought them because they were for a 2" higher ride height so they would not bottom out from my torsion twist. I put kyb gas a just in the back and I love them.

Yeah if your shock mounts are weak. Then you don’t need air shocks I work the hell out of all my trucks. And constantly have them loaded. So they make sense for me
