Timing on a 2.3L

Hi,

I have an '84 Ranger and it doesn't run right now.

So I'm gonna go and check the timing today. I have the Chilton manual, but it's not very helpful when it comes to timing.

I already know where the timing marks are supposed to be, and I was wondering if I could get a second opinion.

Also, where/how do I set up the distributor pulley for proper timing?

Not running can be caused by several things other than timing. If you know about the marks, line them up and see what you have. Have you checked for ignition spark, fuel delivery, etc. A little more info will help.shady
