Timing Cover Coolant Leak


Took it for a long drive yesterday and it seems to be fine, no sign of leaks. I hope it stays that way!

Great thread, very helpful. I have the same issue on my 08 3.0 and don't know if I am capable of this repair on my own.
 
it's awkward to do, the frame is in the way from below. from the top it's a stretch down to the stuff.
the fan comes off in the direction it rotates. so when the engine is running the water pump is screwing into the fan.
